(Reuters) - British homeware retailer Dunelm Group reported a 2.4% rise in half-year sales on Thursday, helped by higher volumes and strong demand for its value-focused products.

Dunelm, which has been focusing on an product-expansion driven market growth, saw digital sales make up for 39% of its total sales in the six months ended Dec. 28.

The Syston-headquartered company posted 894 million pounds ($1.09 billion) in total sales for the reported period, up from 872 million pounds a year ago.
