(Reuters) - Jet Garages across Britain face fuel shortages as employees of fuel haulage contractor firm JW Suckling Transport have started a ballot for industrial action in a longstanding pay dispute, Unite the Union said on Tuesday.
The ballot for industrial action opens on Feb. 9 and closes on March 9. If a strike is voted for, industrial action could begin before the end of next month.
The 30-plus drivers are based at depots in Essex, West London and Grangemouth. The drivers undertake work as part of the Phillips 66 contract, which supplies fuel to Jet Garages, Unite said.
