Utilities Gain as Treasury Yield Retreat Continues - Utilities Roundup

Shares of power producers rose as Treasury yields continued their retreat.

CenterPoint Energy, the Houston utility whose network was crippled by Hurricane Beryl, fell after it posted a drop in second-quarter earnings. CenterPoint pledged to build a more consumer-oriented outage tracker, seeking an improved emergency response.
