Aug 9 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened lower on the last day of a turbulent week, while Federal Reserve officials' dovish signals following a report of a resilient labor market kept losses in check.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 38.4 points, or 0.10%, at the open to 39,408.06.
The S&P 500 fell 4.7 points, or 0.09%, at the open to 5,314.66, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 23.5 points, or 0.14%, to 16,636.522 at the opening bell. (Reporting by Shubham Batra in Bengaluru; Editing by Shinjini Ganguli)
