Édit Agricole : Credit Agricole planted trees on behalf of customers who received a car loan

As part of the annual eco initiative 'Tree for Car Loan', employees of Credit Agricole Bank planted about 30 young trees in the Kyiv park 'Pozniaky': maples, spruces, and rowan-trees. Taking care about the environment, the bank has organized six tree planting events over four years and intends to continue this tradition. Taking into account the quarantine and enhanced safety measures, this year initiative was less grand-scale than usually.

'The status of car lending market leader is not only an honor but also a responsibility for Credit Agricole. Green initiative 'Tree for Car Loan' is our wish to reduce the impact of harmful emissions from cars. And this is not the only environmental initiative of the bank. We have electric cars in our corporate car fleet, so we do not harm the environment during business travel. Since recently, we launched a pilot project and proposed our employees to use electric scooters when they travel around the city in business needs. Moreover, the bank is happy to support environmentally friendly choices of our clients and grants loans for purchase of electric cars. The environmental initiative 'Tree for Car Loan' is a part of a large-scale corporate social responsibility program «We Care!» implemented at Credit Agricole in 2016. As part of its environment protection vector, the bank implements the 'green office' project, has solar panels and electric cars in its fleet, and employees of the bank sort trash.
