Luc Rémont and Véronique Weill to join Capgemini board

Capgemini has announced changes to its Board of Directors, which will be proposed at the next Annual General Meeting on May 20, including the appointments of Véronique Weill and Luc Rémont as members for a four-year term.

As Chairman and CEO of EDF from November 2022 to May 2025, Luc Rémont will bring to the board his experience as a leader of major international groups in the energy and energy transition sectors, where technology plays a key role.

Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of CNP Assurances since July 2020, Véronique Weill has held numerous senior management positions within international companies in the insurance and banking sectors.

Both will join the board of the French IT services group, while Xavier Musca and Frédéric Oudéa have expressed their wish not to seek renewal of their terms.

Furthermore, the board proposes to maintain, following the next AGM, a governance structure separating the roles of Chairman and CEO, and to reappoint Paul Hermelin as Chairman of the Board for a final term.

The board also intends to appoint Patrick Pouyanné as Lead Independent Director following the AGM, and to submit for ratification the co-option of Lila Tretikov, decided on January 5.
