Danish shipping and logistics giant A.P. Möller-Maersk is suspending customers' ability to purchase its Value Protect insurance for refrigerated cargo in the region, Bloomberg News reports.
The service is described as an additional layer of protection that extends liability for incidents such as delays and fires, beyond standard terms of carriage.
The change applies to Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.
