In September, System-wide Sales and Same-store Sales increased by 6.9% and 5.5%, respectively, compared to the same month of the previous year.

  • With Tsukimi, a well-received autumn tradition menu, we offered a total of eight sandwiches including five new items for a limited time from Wednesday, September 3. Many customers enjoyed again this year the wide range of lineup, including the classic Tsukimi Burger with a revamped sauce for the first time in eight years, as well as the new Toro-Uma Sukiyaki Tsukimi.

  • Puri-Puri Ebipurio, a side menu item featuring shrimp with a plump and addictive texture and taste, and Potenage Large & Extra Large, available after 5:00 PM as part of Yoru Mac® menu, was sold for a limited time from Wednesday, September 17.

  • Happy Meal Plarail, featuring Takara Tomy’s railway toys including popular Shinkansen trains, and Happy Meal My Melody & Kuromi, starring Sanrio’s beloved characters—My Melody, celebrating her 50th anniversary this year, and Kuromi, marking her 20th anniversary—were offered for a limited time from Friday, September 12.

  • In support of Ronald McDonald House, accommodation facilities operated by Ronald McDonald House Charities Japan for children battling illness and their families, donation boxes have long been placed at the counters of approximately 3,000 McDonald’s restaurants nationwide. Starting September 1 (Monday), customers can also use PayPay, a cashless payment service for donations, in addition to the traditional in-store cash donations.

McDonald’s will continue to be a familiar and accessible brand that stays close to every customer, offering the unique hospitality, excitement, and convenient services only McDonald’s can provide, along with great value throughout the year.
