Meta Platforms named Dina Powell McCormick as its president and vice chair, tapping one of the most senior women on Wall Street and a former Trump advisor to help lead the company's next phase of growth.

Powell McCormick will help guide Meta's overall strategy and execution, the Menlo Park, Calif., company said Monday, partnering with its compute and infrastructure teams to ensure multibillion-dollar investments execute against goals and drive positive economic impact. She brings more than 25 years of experience, including 16 years at Goldman Sachs as a partner in senior leadership roles.
