Finnish paperboard manufacturer Metsä Board has entered into a strategic partnership with Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, according to a press release.

The partnership aims to develop innovative packaging solutions to enhance both production efficiency and the consumer experience.

The collaboration includes joint research and development projects, pilot productions, and customer demonstrations at Heidelberg's Print Media Centres as well as Metsä Board's own development centers and design studios.

'Our collaboration with Heidelberg allows us to offer our customers new opportunities in packaging design and production efficiency, while continuing to focus on sustainability and top quality', says Erja Hyrsky, SVP of Commercial Operations at Metsä Board.
