(Alliance News) - Microsoft announced Tuesday a USD30 billion investment in the UK over four years, as US President Donald Trump landed in Britain for a landmark second state visit.

"We're committed to creating new opportunity for people and businesses on both sides of the Atlantic," Microsoft chief executive Satya Nadella said in a post on X.

"That's why today we announced a USD30 billion investment in the UK over four years, including building the country's largest supercomputer."

Microsoft shares were up 0.1% after hours at USD509.55 in New York on Tuesday. The stock closed down 1.2% at USD509.04.
