Piazza Affari continues its session with a moderate rise amid calm European stock markets at the end of a week packed with macroeconomic data and key central bank meetings.

A positive signal came yesterday from the ECB, which confirmed interest rates as expected and revised up its outlook for the region's economy.

Around 12:20 p.m., the Ftse Mib index is up 0.3% with volumes around 1.67 billion.

U.S. futures are also performing well.

Among the standout stocks:

** JUVENTUS surges as much as 5% during the morning, driven, according to a trader, by bets on a renewed bid from Tether after the first proposal, delivered last Friday, was rejected by the Agnelli family.

** TELECOM ITALIA remains strong at around +2%. Intermonte cites international rumors regarding the fate of Altice and sector consolidation in France, which could compel Iliad to scale back in Italy and speed up a deal with Wind 3. All this could indirectly benefit Tim thanks to a reduction in domestic market competitors.

** Positive momentum for FERRARI (+1.7%) while STELLANTIS is slightly down.

** SAIEPM (+0.9%) benefits from the third extension of an offshore drilling contract in Norway, while the rest of the oil sector is sluggish following weak crude prices.

** LEONARDO rises by 0.6%, below the day's highs reached after announcing two contracts in the U.S., while AVIO pares initial gains to +0.5% after a strong start following two Vega C launch service agreements.

** Banks are mixed, while GENERALI posts a 1% gain. CAMPARI is weak.
