Moncler has appointed Bottega Veneta CEO Leo Rangone as its new chief executive officer, effective April 1, as part of a broad restructuring of its top management.

The luxury group announced in a statement that Remo Ruffini, currently CEO, will become executive chairman and will retain responsibility for creative direction as well as a "primary role" in governance and the definition of strategic direction.

Bartolomeo Rangone began his career in the luxury sector in 2001 with Fendi. After more than a decade with the LVMH Group, he joined Kering in 2012, where he served as Chief Operating Officer of Yves Saint Laurent and, since 2019, as CEO of Bottega Veneta.

Starting March 1, Roberto Eggs will step down from his role as Chief Business & Global Market Officer "to embark on a new professional chapter." Eggs will continue his collaboration with the Moncler group as a non-executive director on the board.
