More people reported irregularities at the defense company Saab last year, according to Affärsvär;lden, which reviewed the annual report. In 2025, the number of cases rose to 74 from 59 in 2024.

This increase concerns the number of alerts received through the company's whistleblower system, involving reports on issues such as workplace environment, suspected bribery, and conflicts of interest, the newspaper writes.

The company views the higher number of reports as a sign that the system is being used.

“We see the increase as positive. It demonstrates a healthy reporting culture and that employees trust our reporting systems. The rise in reports is partly due to Saab's growth and increased number of employees, but also to improved communication and awareness of our Code of Conduct and Speak Up policy,” Saab's press officer Mattias Rådström told the newspaper.
