MVV Energie AG is a Germany-based company that operates in the energy sector. The Company operates through five segments: Customer Solutions, New Energies, Supply Reliability, Strategic Investments and Other Activities. The Customer Solutions reporting segment comprises the business fields of retail, business and commodities. The New Energies reporting segment comprises of environmental energy, wind/biomethane and project development business fields. The Supply Reliability reporting segment includes the combined heat and power and the grids business fields. The Strategic Investments reporting segment mainly consists of Koethen Energie and MVV Energie CZ and also includes the at-equity result of Stadtwerke Ingolstadt. The shared-service companies and cross-divisional functions are pooled in the Other Activities reporting segment.
