A new seismic event has occurred at Boliden's Garpenberg mine in Hedemora, according to Sveriges Radio's P4 Dalarna.
The tremor registered a magnitude of 2.6, leading to the evacuation of personnel from the mine. Boliden informed SR that the situation is currently being monitored from the surface.
When a tremor struck the Garpenberg mine over a month ago, four people were injured. There are no reports of any injuries following Friday's event.
Boliden AB is Europe's No. 3 zinc and copper producer. The group is also active in metal casting, refining, and recycling. Boliden AB also produces gold, silver and lead. Net sales break down by activity as follows:

- metal extraction (6.6%): primarily zinc and copper.
