BERLIN (dpa-AFX) - German NFL fans will have to adapt: The streaming service DAZN and the North American football league have unexpectedly ended their five-year contract, which was originally set to run for another two years. Information obtained by the German Press Agency confirms a report by "Sport Bild." Neither the NFL nor DAZN were willing to comment officially.
Until now, DAZN had broadcast select games and the German-language conference "ENDZN." The streaming service will retain the so-called NFL Game Pass, which DAZN will distribute worldwide until 2033. This package includes all individual NFL games with original US commentary as well as the "RedZone" conference. A large free-TV offering is available on RTL./jrz/DP/nas
