Savers at online broker Nordnet opted to invest primarily in investment companies and cyclical industrials during May, according to a press release.

The list is topped by Investor and Latour, but also includes Atlas Copco and Hexagon further down.

'What otherwise stands out during the month is that Nibe climbed to become the third most bought stock. Despite a tough period on the stock market, Nordnet's customers see the depressed share price as an attractive long-term buying opportunity and are choosing to bottom-fish', says Carl-Henrik Söderberg, savings economist at Nordnet.

On the sell side, Sinch topped the list ahead of Evolution and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). Tesla, Embracer, and Electrolux were also among the most net-sold stocks during the month.

'We also see that savers are choosing to exit smaller or more niche companies such as Nilörngruppen, game developer Asmodee, oil company IPC, and niche bank Norion Bank in favor of larger and more liquid industrial giants', says Carl-Henrik Söderberg.
