Site manager Jesper Trebbien Andersen has announced that Novo Nordisk is suspending the construction of a production facility in Odense in favor of warehousing operations, according to Danish broadcaster TV2.

The decision results in layoff notices for more than half of the 150 employees, while future recruitment has been put on hold.
