Okta is delighted to announce that Laura Padilla joined the company as its new SVP of Global Partners and Alliances on January 5.
Padilla is a pivotal hire who will strengthen the leadership team as the company focuses on accelerating growth. Her appointment is an endorsement of Okta's partner-first focus.
Padilla brings over 20 years of experience scaling partner ecosystems. She joins Okta from Freshworks, where she was instrumental in growing the global channel business, and previously led global partner and platform sales during Zoom's period of hyper-growth.
Okta's Chief Revenue Officer Jon Addison expressed strong confidence in Padilla's fit for the organization, noting, "Laura's core strength in driving incremental, partner-led revenue makes her the ideal leader to accelerate our partner organization's next phase of expansion. Her role is crucial to ensuring the company can deliver maximum customer value hand-in-hand with partners."
Padilla pointed to the company's vision and AI focus as key factors in her decision: "I'm thrilled to be joining Okta - a company with industry-leading products and an unmatched vision. I see a huge opportunity for partners to capture meaningful market share, particularly given the company's recent AI announcements, which make the timing ripe for tremendous growth."
Padilla is based in San Francisco, California, and will report directly to Chief Revenue Officer Jon Addison.
