(Alliance News) - OPS Italia Spa announced on Wednesday that its board of directors has resolved to submit an application before the Milan Court to access a crisis and insolvency regulation instrument, simultaneously requesting the granting of protective measures.

The court has reserved its decision. In a statement, the company clarified that it is not in a state of insolvency, but is experiencing "a phase of financial tension that has made it necessary to promptly access the tools provided by law for crisis management and resolution."

OPS Italia confirms "its full commitment to pursuing an industrial and financial recovery plan aimed at business continuity, safeguarding employment levels, and enhancing strategic assets."
