The largest positive contributors to performance during the month were Hanza, Biogaia and Harvia. Hemnet and Kalmar detracted from returns.
During 2026, the fund's largest investments were made in Elekta, Avarda and Thule. These purchases were financed through divestments in Nolato, Matas and Medicover. Following Elekta's report at the end of May, the fund further increased its holding in the company.
According to the fund management company, Elekta's order intake amounted to -15 percent in the report, while order growth for the full year was 1 percent in constant currencies. The book-to-bill ratio stood at 1.04 and operating profit was SEK 902 million, compared to SEK 843 million the previous year.
The manager states that the portfolio companies' median profit and sales increased by 7 percent during the first quarter. Earnings results exceeded consensus forecasts by an average of 6 percent at the EBIT level. According to the fund, the operational performance of the portfolio companies contributed to the fund's rise during the month.
During May, Origo Seleqt was also awarded a Morningstar Gold rating. The manager states that the current investment strategy remains in place but may be continuously fine-tuned going forward.
The largest holdings in the fund's portfolio at month-end were MTG, Hanza, Elekta, Biogaia and Kalmar.
