Pareto Securities' Swedish portfolio gained 3.9 percent in May, outperforming the OMXGI benchmark index, which rose 3.4 percent.

Year-to-date, the portfolio has delivered a return of 13.9 percent, compared to a 7.2 percent increase for the benchmark index.

Pareto is making three changes ahead of June. Thule, Xvivo, and Billerud are being removed from the portfolio and replaced by Atlas Copco, Note, and Elekta.

Pareto believes Atlas Copco will benefit from a global industrial recovery and increased investment in the semiconductor sector. For Note, the firm highlights a growing order book, significant exposure to the defense industry, and the potential for upward earnings revisions. For Elekta, the Capital Markets Day on June 17 is expected to serve as a positive catalyst, as the company has already exceeded its cost-saving targets and may raise its long-term margin guidance.

The remainder of the portfolio consists of Beijer Alma, Cheffelo, Eastnine, Metso, Mips, Paradox, and SKF.
