Poste Italiane S.p.A. (BIT:PST) acquired an additional 2.51% stake in Telecom Italia S.p.A. (BIT:TIT) from Vivendi SE (ENXTPA:VIV) for approximately ?190 million on December 11, 2025. The consideration will be financed through available cash. Upon completion of the acquisition, Poste Italiane?already a shareholder with 24.81% of the ordinary shares?will hold a total stake of 27.32% of TIM's ordinary shares, corresponding to 19.61% of the share capital, thereby exceeding the current threshold required under the regulations on mandatory takeover bids. With this transaction, Poste Italiane strengthens its strategic investment in TIM, confirming its objective of acting as a long-term industrial shareholder through the realization of synergies and the creation of value for all stakeholders.
