Principal Financial Group, Inc. (NasdaqGS:PFG) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire dental network in Alabama of Southland Benefit Solutions LLC on March 3, 2026. Principal will also obtain renewal rights for a block of group insurance contracts through Canopy Insurance, which, along with SBS, is a subsidiary of Collateral Holdings, LLC. This agreement will increase the number of Principal wholly owned networks, with DentaNet joining Principal Preferred Provider Network, Diversified Dental Services, and First Dental Health.
