Qatar National Cement Company QPSC is a Qatar-based cement manufacturing company which is primarily engaged in the production and sale of cement, washed sand, and other related products. The Company is organized into two business segments, which comprise the manufacturing and sale of cement and sand and other by-products. In addition to the sale of cement and sand, the Company's other activities are classified as Others for segmentation purposes. The Company's entire business operations are in the State of Qatar. Its products include Ordinary Portland Cement, which is used in reinforced concrete, plastering, blocks, bricks, cladding, pavements, and others; Sulphate Resistant Portland Cement, which is designed for environments with high sulphate exposure; White Cement, which is used for decorative and architectural applications; Calcium Carbonate and Calcium Carbonate Fines, which are used in cement, paints, plastics, paper, water treatment, and construction; and others.
