Qualcomm Incorporated announced the appointment of Brett Simpson to the position of senior vice president of Investor Relations. In his role, Simpson will have oversight of Qualcomm's investor relations strategy, guiding communication around the company's long-term vision and growth strategy. His appointment is effective immediately and he will report directly to Akash Palkhiwala, executive vice president, CFO and COO of Qualcomm Incorporated.
Simpson joins Qualcomm following a more than 25-year career as the Co-Founder and Partner of Arete Research where he has advised the world's largest technology investors with deep specialization in semiconductors, AI compute, and advanced technology supply chains. Simpson holds a bachelor's degree from Robert Gordon University.
