(Alliance News) - Recordati Spa announced on Tuesday that it had acquired 72,712 of its own ordinary shares between January 12 and 16.

The shares were purchased at an average unit price of EUR48.6994, for a total consideration of EUR3.5 million.

Following these purchases, the company now holds a total of 4.9 million treasury shares, representing approximately 2.4% of its share capital.

Recordati's stock closed down 0.5% at EUR47.48 per share.
