(Alliance News) - Recordati Spa announced on Tuesday that it had purchased 60,263 of its own ordinary shares between February 2 and 6.

The shares were acquired at an average unit price of EUR47.4938, for a total consideration of EUR2.9 million.

As of today, the company holds 5.1 million of its own shares, representing 2.5% of its share capital.

Recordati's stock closed up 1.4% on Tuesday at EUR47.82 per share.
