FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX Broker): Shares of Redcare Pharmacy surged on Monday in response to the online pharmacy raising its full-year targets. By the afternoon, the stock climbed to its highest level since early March, trading up 15 percent at €56.20. This performance positioned the shares as the top performer in the MDax index of mid-cap German stocks, narrowing their year-to-date loss to approximately 14 percent.

The company raised its annual outlook following strong business performance during the second quarter. Redcare is now targeting revenue growth of 15 to 17 percent, up from its previous forecast of 13 to 15 percent. Analysts had previously estimated an average growth rate of just over 14 percent. Regarding profitability, the operating margin is now expected to land between 2.5 and 3.0 percent, compared to the previous target of at least 2.5 percent./edh/men
