The Stockholm Stock Exchange is expected to open lower on Monday as renewed unrest in the Middle East appears to have derailed peace negotiations.

Over the weekend, the U.S. seized an Iranian-flagged vessel in the Gulf of Oman after it failed to stop when ordered. The announcement came hours after Trump stated that negotiators were due in Pakistan on Monday for fresh peace talks. Tehran has denied any new peace negotiations, according to the state news agency IRNA.

Euro Stoxx 50 futures are down 1.45 percent, FTSE 100 futures are retreating 0.41 percent, and DAX futures are falling 1.44 percent.

U.S. S&P 500 futures are trading 0.61 percent lower.

This morning's news flow featured a positive profit warning from Proact. The data storage company estimates that its results for the first quarter of 2026 will be significantly better than expected. The positive variance is attributed to a combination of higher gross margins driven by temporary market conditions and improved profitability resulting from implemented cost-efficiency measures, according to a press release.

The company's preliminary review of the period's results indicates that adjusted EBITA will reach 110-120 million SEK, compared to 79 million SEK in the corresponding quarter last year. This represents an EBITA margin of 9.0-9.5 percent, up from 6.5 percent last year.

Technology firm Sivers Semiconductors' major shareholder Achilles Capital and its parent company DDM Finance are applying for restructuring as bond loans totaling approximately 225 million EUR mature in April 2026.

Real estate and investment company Lundbergs reported a net asset value after deferred tax of 652 SEK per share as of April 17, compared to 587 SEK at the turn of the year. The company announced this ahead of today's Annual General Meeting.

Real estate company Emilshus is acquiring ten light industrial properties from Catena for 614 million SEK. The total lettable area amounts to 53,100 square meters with an annual rental value of approximately 45 million SEK. The properties are almost fully leased and possession will be taken in July. The purchase price exceeds the latest valuation by approximately 8 percent, according to a press release from Catena.
