Rocket Lab said it signed the largest launch contract in its history with a confidential customer, and also received a $30 million contract from Anduril Industries for multiple hypersonic test flights.
The company said it would be conducting dedicated Neutron and Electron launches for the confidential customer. The deal includes five dedicated Neutron launches and three dedicated Electron launches baselined to launch between 2026 and 2029, according to Rocket Lab.
The launches will bring Rocket Lab's total launch manifest to more than 70 missions and values its overall backlog at more than $2.2 billion.
Rocket Lab also said it was awarded a contract by defense technology company Anduril Industries for multiple hypersonic test flights with the HASTE launch vehicle. The deal includes three HASTE hypersonic test launches Rocket Lab's Launch Complex 2 in Virginia.
The missions will serve to test to advance the development of hypersonic technologies, Rocket Lab said.
Also, Rocket Lab said that in partnership with Raytheon, it was selected to demonstrate capabilities for the U.S. Space Force's Space Based Interceptor program.
