Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said more than 400 drones and some 40 missiles of various types were launched in attacks on Saturday, and accused Moscow of choosing continued strikes over diplomacy.

One of the drone strikes sparked a fire at a warehouse complex in the city of Yahotyn, located 62 miles (100 km) from the capital in the Kyiv region, Ukrainian emergency services said.

Footage released by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kyiv region showed firefighters tackling the blaze. Reuters was able to verify the location of the video, but not the date it was recorded.

The attacks come just days after the latest round of the U.S.-brokered talks between Ukraine and Russia on how to end the war. Despite pressure from U.S. President Donald Trump's administration and rounds of talks, diplomatic efforts have so far brought no tangible results.
