To this end, CEO Markus Krebber signed several memoranda of understanding on Friday in the presence of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, according to RWE. RWE and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) have agreed to explore opportunities for the delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Germany and other European markets. With the Masdar Group, investments in battery storage in Germany are to be explored. The agreements are aimed at deepening cooperation between RWE and companies from the United Arab Emirates through 2030 and beyond.
