Defense company Saab will parallelize the production of its new A-26 submarines at several facilities to meet delivery targets for Poland, Saab CEO Micael Johansson stated in Sälen, according to Reuters.

Poland decided in November to purchase three submarines in a multi-billion deal, with the first delivery scheduled for 2030. Saab has invested to enable section manufacturing at multiple locations, including Landskrona, and maintenance as well as upgrades will also take place at a shipyard in Poland.

Saab builds submarines through its subsidiary Kockums.
