South African Reserve Bank Governor Lesetja Kganyago speaks on Bloomberg Television about the central bank's new 3% inflation target. "There is a print that is coming out later today -- we expect to be a slight uptick to 3.6% -- but throughout the year the prints that we expect for each month is that they will all have a 3% handle," Kganyago told Bloomberg's Joumanna Bercetche in Davos, Switzerland. Kganyago also talks about the outlook for interest rates and the significance of central bank independence and the Federal Reserve.
