He holds a doctorate in control technology from Hamburg University of Technology (2001). Rémy Triouleyre (48), previously CEO of Schaeffler France and Global Key Account Manager for the Stellantis Group, will succeed Dr. Schröder as Regional CEO Europe.

He holds a master?s degree in international trade finance and studied mechanical engineering. Additionally, Dr. Xiangbin Chen (44) has been appointed Regional CEO Greater China, effective January 1, 2027, succeeding Dr. Yilin Zhang, who will retire at the end of 2026.

Dr. Chen has been head of the E-Mobility division in Greater China since November 1, 2024, and oversees Global Key Account Management in the region. He holds a master?s degree and a doctorate in mechanical engineering from Tongji University in Shanghai.

Georg F.W. Schaeffler, family shareholder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board, commented that Dr. Schröder?s extensive experience within Schaeffler and his role in developing the E-Mobility division make him highly qualified for the COO position.
