Shin Yang Group Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment and property holding company. The Company is principally involved in the provision of domestic and international shipping services. Its business is focused on shipping and shipbuilding. Its segments include Shipping, Shipbuilding, Ship repair and Metal Fabrication, Service providers, Gas and Investment holding. Its shipping operations cover both Malaysian and International waters ranging from South East Asia region, East Asia region and Far East region to the Gulf region in the Middle East Countries. It owns a fleet of over 295 vessels with a total gross registered tonnage (GRT) of approximately 435,000 tonnages. Its shipbuilding facilities are supported by three shipbuilding yards located in Kuala Baram, Miri, one in Bintulu, Sarawak. Its ancillary services include the provision of ship repair and fabrication of metal structures. It also undertakes shipping agency and forwarding, third party logistic transportation and others.
