Skyharbour Resources Ltd. announced that it has acquired by low-cost staked forty new prospective uranium exploration claims in Northern Saskatchewan, increasing Skyharbour's total land package that it has ownership interest in to 662,887 hectares (1,638,029 acres) across 43 projects. The newly staked claims, which are 100% owned by the Company, add 64,913 hectares (160,403 acres) to Skyharbour's existing holdings in and around the Athabasca Basin, home to the highest-grade uranium deposits in the world and consistently ranked as a top global mining jurisdiction by the Fraser Institute. While Skyharbour remains focused on advancing its co-flagship Russell Lake project portfolio, recently joint-ventured with Denison Mines, and its 100% owned Moore Project, these new claims will form part of the Company's prospect generator business through which Skyharbour will seek strategic partners to advance and unlock value from these assets.
Carter North: The newly staked Carter North Project consists of ten mineral claims, nine of which are contiguous, with one standalone claim, totaling 36,393 hectares. The project is located in the western Athabasca Basin, adjacent to Cameco's North Williams Project, approximately 35 kilometres northeast of NexGen Energy's Arrow Deposit and 164 kilometres north of the community of La Loche.
