JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) -South African discount retailer Pepkor Holdings reported on Tuesday a 14.8% rise in full-year earnings while revenue grew 12%.

The owner of PEP and Ackermans clothing brands said headline earnings per share (HEPS) from continuing operations rose to 161 cents, up from 140.2 cents a year earlier.

On a comparable 52-week basis, normalised HEPS grew by 23.4% to 161 cents.
