Company Profile

Space Communication Ltd is an Israel-based company active in the telecommunication sector. It operates the AMOS-2, AMOS-3 and AMOS-5 satellites, offering a wide range of communications and broadcasting services in Europe, the Middle East and across the Atlantic Ocean connecting the United States' East Coast to the Middle East and Europe. AMOS-2, launched in December 2003, has a planned life time until 2016. AMOS-3, launched in April 2008, has a planned life time until 2023. AMOS-5 is leased to provide services over Africa. The Company provides broadcasting and communication services to television broadcasters and programmers, direct broadcast satellite operators, government organizations, private small aperture terminal networks and others. The Company serves customers, such as HBO, for its European cable services, Antenna-Hungaria, Telespazio, YES, BOOM and more. The Company acquired additional satellite, AMOS-4, planned to be launched in 2013.
