The Stockholm Stock Exchange is trading higher at midday on Tuesday, recovering from Monday's decline. The trend is in line with the markets in Frankfurt and Paris, while London is posting more modest gains.

At around 12:50 PM, the OMXS30 index was up 1.39 percent at 3,137.49. Shares worth approximately SEK 8.1 billion had changed hands on the Stockholm Bourse.

Among the major industrial sectors, technology performed best with a 4.4 percent rise. At the other end of the scale, energy lagged behind, falling 1.2 percent.

Among the blue-chip stocks included in the OMXS30 index, EQT rose 3.7 percent while Boliden gained 3.3 percent. Saab B saw the weakest performance, down 1.9 percent, while Astra Zeneca slipped 0.4 percent.

Technology firm Sivers Semiconductors has entered into a strategic partnership with Globalfoundries to develop silicon photonics solutions for AI infrastructure. The news sparked a powerful rally for the stock, which is climbing to a new record high on very heavy volume. The share is soaring by 68 percent and has now advanced nearly 2,400 percent since the turn of the year.

Power and automation group ABB is expanding its collaboration with Nvidia to allow data center operators to simulate and optimize power systems for AI infrastructure prior to construction. The partnership builds on the companies' 2025 initiative regarding 800 VDC architecture for next-generation AI data centers. ABB shares are up 2.3 percent.

Lock manufacturer Assa Abloy is expanding its Canadian operations through the acquisition of Sentinel Dock & Door, which had sales of around SEK 1 billion last year. The acquisition is expected to be accretive to earnings per share from the outset. The stock is rising 1.2 percent.

Defense company Saab received a new order worth SEK 1.2 billion from the FMV (Swedish Defence Materiel Administration) for air defense systems for the Swedish Army's brigades.

Construction group Skanska announced two new deals: an investment of SEK 360 million in Warsaw and an order for an equivalent amount in Tampere. The stock is up 1.3 percent.

Cybersecurity firm Yubico is collaborating with OpenAI; starting June 1, the latter will require users in 'Trusted Access for Cyber' to activate Advanced Account Security to access the company's most advanced AI models and extended permissions. Yubico provides hardware-based passkeys via Yubikey. Yubico's shares are increasing by 6.2 percent.

Software company Octave is climbing 8.6 percent. The stock performed strongly on the New York Stock Exchange on Monday.

Among today's analyst notes, Oddo has initiated coverage of Securitas with an 'outperform' rating and a price target of SEK 210. The stock is up 2.5 percent.
