The Stockholm stock exchange opened Tuesday's trading session with rising share prices as earnings season continues. Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca delivered a report that was broadly in line with expectations. Leisure products group Thule emerged as an earnings winner, while e-commerce company Nelly—whose stock soared last year—is tumbling sharply following today's report.

After 25 minutes of trading, the OMXS30 index was up 0.37 percent at 3,148.24. Throughout the day, the index has fluctuated between a low of 0.05 percent and a high of 0.40 percent.

The broader OMXSPI was up 0.49 percent.
