The Stockholm stock exchange opened Wednesday's trading session with minor index fluctuations.

After 25 minutes of trading, the OMXS30 index was down 0.10 percent at 2,805.95. Throughout the day, the index has moved within a range of -0.41 percent at its lowest and -0.02 percent at its highest.

The broader OMXSPI index was down 0.15 percent.

Investor attention is centered on Clas Ohlson's interim report, which received a negative response despite operating profit meeting expectations. Husqvarna is holding a capital markets day, announcing new financial targets for 2030. The company is also launching a cost-saving program aiming to reduce annual costs by SEK 4 billion, which will incur one-off costs of SEK 1.5 billion. Among smaller companies, a takeover offer has been made for Addvise.

Investors are also awaiting the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision, expected at 8:00 p.m. Swedish time. The market anticipates a 25 basis point rate cut.
