The Stockholm Stock Exchange opened Tuesday in positive territory, on track to recover from yesterday's losses.

New data from the SBAB Booli Housing Price Index showed that residential property prices increased by 1 percent in May.

Several key macroeconomic data points are expected from international markets during Tuesday's session. Preliminary CPI figures for the Eurozone are due before noon. Shortly after the Wall Street opening, labor market data in the form of JOLTS is anticipated.

At approximately 09:20, the OMXS30 index was up 1.28 percent at 3,134.22. Shares worth approximately SEK 1.7 billion had changed hands on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

Among the major industrial sectors, basic materials showed the strongest performance with a 2.2 percent gain. At the other end of the spectrum, energy lagged behind, falling 1.7 percent.

Among the leading shares included in the OMXS30 index, Boliden rose 3.6 percent while EQT gained 3.2 percent. The weakest performers were Saab B, down 2.9 percent, and Astra Zeneca, which shed 0.7 percent.

Several significant news items have emerged in this morning's flow. Notably, two Swedish companies have entered into partnerships with American giants.

ABB is expanding its collaboration with Nvidia to allow data center operators to simulate and optimize power systems for AI infrastructure prior to construction. The partnership builds on the companies' 2025 initiative regarding 800 VDC architecture for next-generation AI data centers. ABB shares were up 1.6 percent.

Cybersecurity firm Yubico is partnering with OpenAI. Starting June 1, OpenAI will require users in Trusted Access for Cyber (TAC) to enable Advanced Account Security to access the company's most advanced AI models and extended permissions. Yubico provides hardware-based passkeys via Yubikey. Yubico's stock increased 5.6 percent.

Defense company Saab remains active. The company has received an order from the FMV for sensors and command-and-control systems for the army's air defense, valued at SEK 1.2 billion with deliveries scheduled for 2029-2030. Saab shares retreated 2.7 percent.

Lock manufacturer Assa Abloy is expanding its Canadian operations through the acquisition of Sentinel Dock & Door, which had revenues of approximately SEK 1 billion last year. The acquisition is expected to be accretive to earnings per share from the outset. The stock rose 1.2 percent.

Sivers Semiconductor, which has been highly topical, also announced a partnership with an international giant, this time Globalfoundries. Together, the companies will develop silicon photonics for AI infrastructure. Following a double-digit decline on Monday, the stock is surging over 22 percent.

Construction group Skanska announced two new deals: an investment of SEK 360 million in Warsaw and an order of an equivalent amount in Tampere. The stock was up 1.6 percent.

During the morning, Oddo initiated coverage of Securitas with an outperform rating and a price target of SEK 210. The stock increased 2.4 percent.
