U.S. President Donald Trump held a televised address to the nation overnight, Swedish time. Trump claimed the country is heading toward "total victory" in the war in Iran. He stated that the end of the war is approaching and presented a timeline of 2-3 weeks. In the meantime, he intends to continue bombing Iran "back to the Stone Age where they belong," Trump said. The speech lasted 19 minutes, and several observers described the performance as lacking substance. However, it met with a negative reception on the equity markets.

Investment company Flat Capital is selling a large portion of its passive AI and software-related holdings for SEK 720 million, resulting in a gain of SEK 526 million. The divestments consist of the entire positions in OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Lovable, Cerebras Systems, and Alpaca, as well as more than half of the holding in Perplexity.

Construction company Skanska is selling its 50 percent stake in the I-4 Ultimate highway project in Florida to its partner John Laing. The purchase price amounts to USD 75 million, equivalent to SEK 690 million. The transaction will be recorded in the second quarter.

Industry peer Peab has received an order from the Port of Gothenburg worth SEK 400 million. The company has also been awarded several road maintenance contracts by the Swedish Transport Administration, together worth just under SEK 500 million.

Elon Musk's space company SpaceX has filed confidentially for an IPO in the U.S., according to reports from Bloomberg News. The listing could be the largest ever and is expected to take place as early as June. According to the reports, the company could be valued at over USD 1,750 billion, equivalent to SEK 16,605 billion. SpaceX's latest valuation was USD 1,250 billion in connection with the acquisition of Musk's AI company, xAI.
