The Stockholm Stock Exchange is expected to open Monday with a sharp decline. Wall Street fell significantly on Friday following the European market close, with technology stocks leading the downturn.

Euro Stoxx 50 futures are down 1.58 percent, FTSE 100 futures are retreating 0.57 percent, and DAX futures are falling 1.70 percent.

U.S. S&P 500 futures are up 0.07 percent.

Brent crude is rising around 4.5 percent and is currently trading at just over 97 dollars per barrel.

Canada is in talks to supplement its future fighter jet fleet with the Gripen E from Saab, in addition to the planned F-35 aircraft from Lockheed Martin, according to CBC, citing industry and government sources. Reports suggest a potential purchase of 72 Gripen aircraft to be built in Canada. If the plans materialize, the Gripen deal could create up to 9,000 jobs and become the largest defense industrial project in Canadian history.

Installation company Bravida has been awarded an installation contract for Green Mountain's data centers in Norway, with an order value of 4.5 billion Norwegian kroner. The assignment includes project management, design, and all technical installations, spanning several years.

Communication services company Sinch has appointed CFO Jonas Dahlberg as acting CEO with immediate effect. The appointment is part of the company's ongoing succession process after outgoing CEO Laurinda Pang previously announced her departure.

Blood analysis company Cellavision has appointed Steve Ferguson as the new CEO with immediate effect. He succeeds Simon Østergaard, who will remain during a transition period. Ferguson has over 25 years of experience in the biotechnology sector and most recently served as CEO of Medix Biochemica. He has also previously worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Lundbeck.

Software company 4C Strategies is carrying out a rights issue of 54 million kronor before issuance costs. The issue is fully guaranteed.
