The Stockholm Stock Exchange is expected to open with modest gains on Tuesday, supported by advances on Wall Street during the long weekend.

Euro Stoxx 50 futures are up 0.04 percent, FTSE 100 futures are gaining 0.24 percent, and DAX futures are down 0.01 percent.

Oil prices are rising today by approximately 1.5 percent to just over 111 dollars.

Iran has rejected a U.S. ceasefire proposal in the conflict, according to Iranian state media cited by AFP. Tehran reportedly informed the mediating country, Pakistan, that it insists on a "definitive end to the war." It remains unclear what the American proposal entails, other than it including ten points.

Consumer prices in Sweden increased less than expected by 0.6 percent year-on-year in March, compared to an expected increase of 1.2 percent according to Bloomberg. The CPIF also came in significantly lower than anticipated with an increase of 1.6 percent, against expectations of 2.2 percent.

In other news, industrial conglomerate Lifco has entered into an agreement to acquire a majority stake in the Italian company Metalltech, a niche designer and manufacturer of expanded metal for architectural applications. The company had a turnover of approximately 15.8 million euros in 2025 and employs 53 people.

Technology trading group Lagercrantz has acquired British firm Michael Smith Switchgear, which has an annual turnover of approximately 8 million pounds, equivalent to 100 million kronor.

On the analysis front, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods has initiated coverage on Nordnet with an underperform rating and a target price of 260 kronor.

Keefe, Bruyette & Woods also initiated coverage on Avanza with a market perform rating and a target price of 330 kronor.

Pareto Securities upgrades Evolution to buy (from hold), with a target price of 700 kronor (600).
