Among the major industrial sectors, energy performed best with a gain of 2.85 percent. At the other end of the spectrum, technology lagged behind, falling 0.98 percent.
Among the leading shares included in the OMXS30 index, Epiroc A rose 0.4 percent while ABB gained 0.2 percent. The weakest performers were SEB A, down 2.5 percent, and Tele2 B, which shed 1.8 percent.
Volvo is trading today ex-dividend for a payout of SEK 13 per share. The stock was trading down 4.5 percent.
