The Stockholm Stock Exchange opened near the flatline on Tuesday as investors await new market catalysts. A decline in oil prices of over one percent provided some support to broader sentiment.
As of 09:18 CET, the blue-chip OMXS30 index was down 0.11 percent at 3,103.40. Shares worth approximately SEK 1.1 billion had changed hands on the exchange.
Among major industrial sectors, engineering led the gains with a 0.1 percent rise. At the other end of the spectrum, healthcare lagged, dropping 1 percent.
Within the OMXS30 index, H&M B rose 1.1 percent, while Sandvik gained 1.1 percent. Hexagon B was the worst performer, falling 3.2 percent, followed by Boliden, which shed 2.3 percent.
Discount retailer Rusta tumbled 4.5 percent following its year-end report, which showed increased revenue and improved earnings for the fourth quarter of the 2025/26 broken fiscal year. The company proposed an increased dividend of SEK 1.80, up from SEK 1.45. According to Ålandsbanken, the results missed market expectations.
